About the job
• The Psychologist must be a credentialed professional whose primary objective is the application of scientific principles of learning and behavior to ameliorate school-related problems and facilitate the learning and development of our middle schoolers.
• Provide psychological education, services and counseling to our teachers, parents, and the school system itself.
• Coordinate with teachers in the development and implementation of methods and procedures to facilitate learning and overcome learning or behavior difficulties.
• Assist the parents in dealing and understanding how to most effectively deal with behavioral and emotional needs.
• Help integrate new students and families into the academic community.
• Commit to regular and continual professional development as required by JFK.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree Psychology (Degree and Professional license required)
• Fully Bilingual (C1 English)
• Previous psychologist experience working with teenagers.
