Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Sports Coordinator to join our team to oversee and facilitate the development of the JFK Sports department and programs while positively promoting the image and reputation of the school. This requires maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere within our community by coordinating the coaching staff, and organizing and attending both internal and external sporting events and activities that are of interest and value to the students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree related to Sports Disciplines (preferably)
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) would be a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position in an academic institution
- Experience managing students, staff and parents
- Experience in problem solving, including the ability to detect strengths and weaknesses in both the Department and staff
